Job summary

Valencia Hotel Group in San Antonio, TX seeks a dedicated Laundry Attendant/Housekeeping helper to wash, dry, fold linen and assist with guest requests. You will communicate with supervisors and team to meet hotel needs and support daily operations in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Experience in housekeeping or laundry is preferred; strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to multitask are essential to maintain cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping/laundry experience preferred, but not necessary.
• Able to read labels in English for laundry chemicals.
• Effective organizational and communication skills.
• Multitask-oriented.
• Neat, professional appearance and good personal hygiene.
• Able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.

Responsibilities

• Providing quality linen and towels for the guest; managing inventory, record/track reclaim/discard and handling chemicals.
• Responding to guest requests.
• Complete two-week training checklist and job position hands-on training.
• Safety committee and Stellar committee participation.
• Constant communication with housemen, housekeeping supervisors, laundry supervisor, management and Food & Beverage management when items are ready.
• Follow hotel policies, safety policy and chemical standards.
