Qualifications

• Knowledge of laundry chemicals and linen types.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and push/pull carts up to 100 lbs.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Operate washing and drying equipment, load and unload laundry from machines.
• Measure and apply cleaning agents according to product specifications.
• Monitor feeder information on washers and ensure drums are full; report irregularities.
• Set proper drying times for different linen types.
• Clean machines and surrounding areas.
• Maintain attendance and be available to work regularly.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
