Job summary

200main is seeking a Laundry Attendant to join the laundry team in Highlands, NC. You will sort, wash, dry, press, fold, and store linens, distributing clean linen per procedures in a safe, efficient manner.

Responsibilities include working as a team to complete daily tasks, handling Old Edwards linens and employee uniforms, receiving soiled linen, and maintaining a clean, safe work area while reporting equipment issues to supervision.

Qualifications

• Laundry experience preferred, but no specific education or experience required.
• Must be a team player with a good attitude.
• Ability to understand written, oral or diagram instructions.
• Standing for long periods in hot environment; lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work as a team to complete daily tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Sort, wash, dry, press and fold Old Edwards linens and employee uniforms.
• Receive and sort soiled linen into appropriate containers.
• Process sorted linen using washers, dryers, sheet spreaders, ironers, and feeder/folders.
• Ensure finished product is inspected and meets quality standards.
• Maintain assigned work area in a clean and safe condition.
• Notify supervisor of malfunctioning equipment, supplies needed, or damaged linens.
