200main is seeking a Laundry Attendant to join the laundry team in Highlands, NC. You will sort, wash, dry, press, fold, and store linens, distributing clean linen per procedures in a safe, efficient manner.

Responsibilities include working as a team to complete daily tasks, handling Old Edwards linens and employee uniforms, receiving soiled linen, and maintaining a clean, safe work area while reporting equipment issues to supervision.

Qualifications

• Laundry experience preferred, but no specific education or experience required.
• Must be a team player with a good attitude.
• Ability to understand written, oral or diagram instructions.
• Standing for long periods in hot environment; lift up to 50 pounds.

Job Details: Job Location: Highlands, NC 28741, Summary

The Laundry Attendant works as part of the Laundry team to sort, wash, dry, press, fold and store all linens associated with the company. Distribute clean linen in accordance with standard operating procedures in a safe, accident-free manner, as assigned by management.

Responsibilities

• Work as a team to complete daily tasks in a timely and efficient manner
• Sort, wash, dry, press and fold Old Edwards linens and Old Edwards employee uniforms
• Receive and sort soiled linen into appropriate containers
• Process sorted linen utilizing the washers, dryers, sheet spreaders, ironers, and feeder/folders ensuring finished product is inspected and meets quality standards
• Maintain assigned work area in a clean and safe condition
• Notify supervisor of malfunctioning equipment, supplies needed, damaged linens, to ensure laundry operation is running at maximum efficiency level

Qualifications: Requirements

• Laundry Experience preferred, but No specific education or experience required
• Must be a team player with a good attitude
• Must have ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
• The employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, often in a hot environment
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
