Job summary

Utz Quality Foods is hiring a Lineman at our Hanover, PA facility to support packaging operations, inventory movement, and trailer coordination. This hands-on role helps keep production moving efficiently and requires active participation on a fast-paced manufacturing team.

The successful candidate will be able to lift up to 80 lbs, work well in a team, and learn equipment and inventory systems while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Able to work independently and stay organized throughout the shift.
• Capable of performing physical work and lifting up to 80 lbs regularly.
• Willingness to learn equipment, inventory systems, and production processes.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
• Flexibility to support changing priorities and operational needs.
• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, forklift, or production experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Move finished product throughout the facility and warehouse areas.
• Pull orders and assist with loading trailers for shipment.
• Coordinate trailer movement with local and surrounding facilities.
• Pack products into cartons, cans, and specialized containers.
• Deliver materials to production lines as needed.
• Set up and operate labeling equipment.
• Transport packed product to warehouse locations.
• Scan finished products into inventory using scanning equipment.
• Record waste and production information at shift end.
• Support production operations and other tasks as assigned.
• Follow all safety standards and report safety concerns immediately.

This is a hands‑on role that plays a critical part in keeping production moving efficiently by supporting packaging operations, inventory movement, and trailer coordination. If you enjoy working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, staying active throughout your shift, and being part of a team that keeps products moving from production to warehouse, this could be a great fit for you.

Responsibilities:

• Move finished product throughout the facility and warehouse areas
• Pull orders and assist with loading trailers for shipment
• Coordinate trailer movement with local and surrounding facilities
• Pack products into cartons, cans, and specialized containers
• Deliver materials and supplies to production lines as needed
• Place cardboard skids at packing stations and work areas
• Transport packed product to warehouse locations using hand jacks
• Scan finished products into inventory using scanning equipment
• Record waste and production information at the end of each shift
• Set up and operate barrel labeling equipment
• Support production operations and assist with additional tasks as assigned
• Follow all safety standards and immediately report safety concerns
