Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Hanover, PA is seeking a Lineman at our High Street facility to join a fast-paced manufacturing team dedicated to keeping production moving. This hands-on role supports packaging operations, inventory movement, and trailer coordination to ensure smooth workflows.

You will move finished product, assist with loading and unloading, coordinate trailer movement, and operate labeling equipment while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Comfortable lifting up to 80 lbs regularly.
• Willingness to learn equipment, inventory systems, and production processes.

• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, forklift, or production experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Move finished product throughout the facility and warehouse areas.
• Pull orders and assist with loading trailers for shipment.
• Coordinate trailer movement with local and surrounding facilities.
• Pack products into cartons, cans, and specialized containers.
• Deliver materials and supplies to production lines as needed.
• Place cardboard skids at packing stations and work areas.
• Transport packed product to warehouse locations using hand jacks.
• Scan finished products into inventory using scanning equipment.
• Record waste and production information at the end of each shift.
• Set up and operate barrel labeling equipment.
• Support production operations and assist with additional tasks as assigned.
• Follow all safety standards and immediately report safety concerns.
