Job summary

Central Iowa Power Cooperative (CIPCO) is seeking Linemen to join our travel construction crew working on transmission line construction, storm restoration and maintenance across Iowa.

The position offers strong benefits including health, dental and vision insurance, a pension plan, a 401(k) with company match and disability coverage.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, an accredited lineman training program or equivalent, and a valid Class A CDL.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Completion of an accredited electric utility lineman training program or substantial equivalent on the job training and/or experience
• Attain/possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Travel construction crew work on transmission line construction, storm restoration and miscellaneous maintenance across Iowa.
• Weekly travel with no residence restrictions and varied schedules with overtime as needed.
