Job summary

PIKE is hiring an entry-level Class C Lineman in Florida to build and repair overhead distribution systems. You will work on energized and de-energized lines, travel to job sites as needed, and report to the Foreman.

This role emphasizes safety, requires a CDL and ability to climb structures, and offers a pathway to develop skills in live-line work, bucket trucks, and heavy equipment operation while supporting outages and storms.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of relevant field experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Availability for extended hours, including weekends and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair overhead distribution systems while prioritizing safety.
• Install and repair power lines, poles, insulators and conductors.
• Climb structures using approved methods and PPE.
• Operate bucket trucks and other line equipment.
• Work outdoors in varying and extreme weather conditions.
• Respond to outages and emergencies, including on-call rotations.
