Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking an entry-level Class C Lineman in Florida to construct and repair overhead distribution lines. You will work on energized and de-energized lines, potentially traveling to different job sites, and report to the Foreman.

Safety is paramount and outdoor work and heights are common. Responsibilities include constructing and maintaining lines, climbing structures, operating bucket trucks and related equipment, and being available for outages and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant field experience.
• Valid CDL.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, and emergency callouts.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintain and repair overhead distribution systems while prioritizing safety.
• Help install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Climb structures using approved methods and equipment.
• Work outdoors in varying environmental conditions and carry out live-line work with proper PPE.
