Job summary

Arizona Public Service is hiring a Journeyman Lineman at its Yuma dock. The role focuses on new construction and maintaining underground and overhead distribution facilities. Applicants must meet the minimum requirements and be prepared for overtime and callouts.

The position includes a $10,000 signing bonus under the LOMA terms. A Class A CDL license and DOT readiness are required, with travel reimbursements possible for out-of-state candidates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Registered Journeyman Lineman Apprenticeship or equivalent training plus 1 year experience as Journeyman Lineman.
• CDL Class A license with DOT compliance; valid permit acceptable with conditions.
• Experience on 4kV to 21kV distribution lines and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Work on new construction projects and maintain underground and overhead distribution facilities.
• Climb and operate with aerial equipment; meet safety and DOT requirements.
• Be available for overtime and callouts as needed; travel reimbursement may apply for out-of-state candidates.
