Job summary

Arizona Public Service (APS) has an immediate opening in Yuma for a Journeyman Lineman. You will be responsible for working on new construction projects and maintaining underground and overhead facilities in a field environment.

This is a hard-to-fill position offering a $10,000 signing bonus. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and completion of a Journeyman Apprenticeship or equivalent with at least one year as a Journeyman Lineman; a Class A CDL is required with DOT

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completed Journeyman Lineman Apprenticeship or equivalent training plus 1 year journeyman experience.
• Class A CDL with DOT compliance required; permit acceptable with conditions.

Responsibilities

• Work on new construction projects and maintain underground and overhead facilities.
• Lineman work on 4kV to 21kV distribution lines and related equipment.
• Onsite role with overtime and callouts as needed.
