Ameren Illinois is seeking personnel for overhead line construction and maintenance across transmission, sub-transmission, distribution and service systems. The role involves work on energized lines and requires adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualified candidates will have completed A.L.B.A.T. or equivalent training, a High School diploma or equivalent, and a valid Class A CDL. Residency within 25 miles may be required, with union terms under IBEW guidelines.

Under direct but not constant supervision, to do a full range of overhead line construction and maintenance work on the electrical transmission, sub‑transmission, distribution, or service systems; to do such work on lines either dead or energized and at all voltages; and to perform similar and less skilled work as required.
