Ameren Illinois is seeking a line worker to construct and maintain overhead lines across transmission and distribution networks, including energized lines of all voltages. You will operate under supervision to complete a broad set of tasks safely and efficiently.
Qualifications include ALBAT or equivalent lineman training, a high school diploma, and a valid Class A CDL, plus passing a 1-day evaluation and required medical/drug screenings. Residency within 25 miles is required.

Under direct but not constant supervision, to do a full range of overhead line construction and maintenance work on the electrical transmission, sub-transmission, distribution, or service systems; to do such work on lines either dead or energized and at all voltages; and to perform similar and less skilled work as required.
