Job summary

VCI Construction, LLC is seeking a Lineman I Telecom to assist with the installation of fiber and telecom cables overhead and to promptly repair issues to ensure reliable service. You will safely use hand and power tools and maintain safe work areas on-site.

The role requires 18+, an eligible work status in the U.S., and a valid driver’s license. Prior construction experience in telecom is preferred, with potential travel for storm response.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license (not provisional) with acceptable driving record.
• Previous construction experience desired, preferably in telecommunications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of fiber and telecom cables overhead, and promptly repair issues for reliable service.
• Safely use hand and power tools as required.
• Maintain safe work areas to ensure smooth traffic flow on site.
• Safely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders.
• Be available to travel for storm response on short notice.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
