Job summary

Consolidated Electric Service is seeking a Lineman/Groundman to work full-time on-site in Southwest Missouri. You will construct, maintain, and repair overhead powerlines, set poles, string conductors, and troubleshoot outages.

The role requires operating heavy equipment and working at heights while adhering to safety standards. The position involves collaborating with crew members, completing work orders, and participating in on-call coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with overhead line construction and maintenance.
• Experience with substations and related electrical equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Commitment to safety and OSHA standards.
• Experience working in field teams and communicating on-site.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain, and repair overhead powerlines and distribution equipment.
• Set poles, string and sag conductors, install hardware and transformers.
• Troubleshoot and restore service during outages.
• Operate heavy equipment and work aloft in buckets.
• Complete work orders, document work, and participate in on-call duties.
