Job summary

Lynden Transport is seeking motivated drivers for a Houston, TX to Edmonton, Alberta run. Earn $0.90 per mile (split) plus a $0.06 per mile quarterly safety bonus (split), with about 4,600 miles per week.

Drive tractor-trailer or straight truck, load and unload cargo, and maintain logs. You will follow company policies and regulatory requirements while ensuring safe, efficient delivery across North America.

Qualifications

• Must have current, valid CDL Class A.
• Hazmat endorsement required or able to obtain.
• 1–2 years tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Drives vehicle to specified destination in accordance with company procedures and governmental regulations.
• Loads and unloads trailer, ensuring that load is secure.
• Inspects vehicle and reports defects; maintains logs and records.
• Maintains contact with dispatcher for pick-up/delivery instructions.
• Ensures shipping documents are complete and accurate.
• Complies with safety regulations and company policies.
