Job summary

Lynden Transport seeks motivated drivers for runs from Dallas, TX to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Pay is $0.90 per mile with a quarterly $0.06 per mile safety bonus, split. Expect about 4600 miles weekly and steady work across a trusted freight network.

Applicants must hold a valid Class A CDL, be able to obtain HazMat endorsement, and possibly a doubles endorsement. High school diploma or GED required; prior tractor-trailer experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, regs, and shipping docs.

Responsibilities

• Drives vehicle to destinations per company procedures and regulations.
• Inspects tractor/truck for defects before, during and after trips and reports conditions.
• Loads/unloads trailer and secures cargo using straps, tarps, ropes and other tools.
• Maintains shipping documents (manifests, bills of lading) and complies with safety rules.
