Job summary

AAA Cooper Transportation is seeking a dedicated Linehaul Driver to move freight between terminals as a full-time employee. The role emphasizes safe operation of commercial motor vehicles and compliance with federal regulations.

You will develop professional relations with the public, maintain shipping documentation, and drive to designated destinations under DOT rules; benefits include health, retirement, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Class A CDL with hazmat and double/triple endorsements required.
• DOT pre-employment checks and background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Check shipping papers for regulatory compliance.
• Maintain required records for state and federal regulations.
• Develop and maintain professional relations with the public.
• Drive to destination in accordance with federal regulations.
• Ensure shipping documentation is ready for inspection.
• Hook and unhook trailers and manage landing gear as needed.
• Inspect equipment for defects and safe operation.
• Fuel trucks and tractors.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
