Job Responsibilities

1. Perform safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicles.
2. Check shipping papers to ensure load compliance with all regulations.
3. Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations.
4. Develop and maintain professional and effective relations between our company and the public.
5. Drive trucks to the required destination in accordance with federal regulations.
6. Ensure all shipping documentation is available for inspection.
7. Hook and unhook trailers from tractors, including operating cranking levers to raise and lower landing gear.
8. Inspect equipment for defects and safe operating conditions, as required by laws and AAA Cooper standards.
9. Fuel trucks and tractors.
10. Perform all other related duties as assigned.
