Job Responsibilities

• Perform safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Check shipping papers to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain records for compliance with regulations.
• Develop and maintain professional relations with the public.
• Drive trucks to destinations in accordance with regulations.
• Ensure shipping documentation is available for inspection.
• Hook and unhook trailers, including operating landing gear.
• Inspect equipment for defects and safety.
• Fuel trucks and tractors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
