Job summary

R+L Carriers in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Linehaul Dispatcher for a Full-Time role, Monday - Friday with various shifts. You will manage drivers and freight handlers, coordinate dock operations, and dispatch LTL loads in a fast-paced environment.

This position offers PTO after 90 days and a strong benefits package. Prior LTL leadership and proficiency with Microsoft Office are favored; knowledge of the city area is helpful for planning routes and schedules.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and logistical skills.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of the City and surrounding areas; prior LTL leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Driver and Freight Handler Management.
• Coordinate Dock Operation and Driver/Freight Handler scheduling.
• Ensure Safety Compliance.
• Ensure quality freight handling procedures are followed.
• Timely dispatching of LTL Loads.
• Other duties as assigned by the Service Center Manager.
