Job summary

Responsibilities

• Dispatch transportation equipment according to the Linehaul plan.
• Follow Linehaul dispatch/arrival rules per procedures.
• Dispatch cargo to maximize trailer volume and meet delivery obligations.
• Enter dispatch events into a TMS for on-time delivery and pickup.
• Verify equipment location with yard inventories and TLCRs.
• Record load/unload status and report missing equipment.
• Promote safety initiatives and maintain a safety-conscious culture.
• Investigate delays, accidents, or equipment failures; implement contingency plans.
