Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a Linehaul Dispatcher to manage equipment dispatch and maximize trailer capacity in line with the Linehaul plan. You will monitor schedules, update the TMS, and verify trailer locations to ensure on-time delivery and safe operations.

This full-time role requires high school diploma or GED (bachelor's preferred) and dispatch experience is desirable. Wed–Sat 1:00 PM–11:00 PM shift, with pay ranges posted and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Dispatch experience preferred.
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of Linehaul operations and DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Dispatches transportation equipment per the Linehaul plan.
• Adheres to dispatch rules and maximizes trailer capacity.
• Enters dispatch events into the TMS for on-time delivery.
• Verifies equipment locations and load status via yard checks.
• Communicates DOT requirements and safety initiatives to the team.
• Investigates delays and outages and implements contingency plans.
• Generates reports for management review and audit support.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
