Big Sandy Community & Technical College is seeking a Staff Instructor in the Line Worker program at the Hager Hill Campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for training and developing potential line workers in the technical skills and safety protocols required for working on electrical power lines.

The role requires extensive experience, strong communication, mentoring abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience.
• Understanding electrical power line safety requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to mentor and guide students in a high-risk environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person instruction to students in both theory and practice.
• Deliver instructional material.
