The role supports the flow of finished product from Retorts and Hydro to the packing area, ensuring smooth line operation and quality checks. Responsibilities include verifying machine setup, unloading baskets, inspecting product, tagging holds, and communicating with the production team to maintain continuous throughput.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Verify machine setup and review production schedule.
• Move full retort basket to the unloader for unloading.
• Inspect finished product for image, odor, color, chunks; sample for lab.
• Identify hold tags and changes, remove defects, and check codes.
• Coordinate with Retort Operator, Tray Packers and supervisors to keep baskets cycling.
• Ensure suction cups are in good condition and assist with weekly sanitation.
