4111 GRU - Gas T&D Construction

This role involves responsible, lead technical work in electric distribution system construction (energized at less than 600v), gas distribution system construction (60psi or less), and maintenance and repair activities.
Reports to a designated supervisor and works under limited supervision. This position is distinguished from higher classes by lack of supervisory responsibilities and from lower classes by its technical skills and construction knowledge.
High school diploma or equivalent, completion of training programs and Operator Qualification, and two years of experience as a Line Technician.
Florida CDL Class “A” license required, with additional training and licensing as specified.
Must serve standby and reside within 40 minutes of specified Gainesville location, and comply with all safety and training requirements.
