Job summary

Kao Chemicals Europe in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Line Technician for the plant team. You will operate and maintain packaging line equipment, lead line teams to meet daily production schedules, and uphold safety and GMP standards.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of mechanical experience, with preferred electrical skills and PLC troubleshooting ability. The second shift runs 2:00pm–10:30pm and includes a $1.25 shift differential plus full benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of mechanical experience required.
• Electrical skills strongly desired.
• PLC/electrical troubleshooting experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repair packaging equipment as required or directed.

We have an excellent opportunity for a Line Technician on our Plant Team ! The factory is a great work environment that is clean, climate controlled and safe!

We have openings on 2nd Shift (2:00pm - 10:30 pm ).

This is a Production position. You will be responsible for doing some maintenance and also being an operator who is responsible for the overall reliability/efficiency of assigned Packaging line/equipment.

What you will do:

• Correctly make repairs to all packaging equipment as required or directed.
• Lead line teams in the successful completion of daily production schedules.
• Complete all Preventative Maintenance as assigned.
• Maintain a Safe and orderly production line area.
• Perform STOP and 5-S GMP audits and follow-up as required.
• Correctly complete all shift notes and line documentation as trained.

What you will need:

• Associates or Trade School or Certification preferred.
• Minimum of 1+ years of mechanical experience, electrical skills strongly desired as well.
• Must have demonstrated electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting skills.
