EverLine Coatings and Services - Seattle is seeking a Line Striper Crew Lead - Seasonal to oversee all staff, maintenance items, and operations of the local business unit.

You will lead by example, help develop staff, and ensure profitable growth. The right candidate is a thoughtful leader with strong communication, planning, and hands-on maintenance skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Crew Lead or similar role from a skilled trade.
• Follows through on commitments and leads by example.
• Experience in planning and budgeting.
• Experienced with using hand and power tools.
• Skilled enough to use the proper tools to troubleshoot broken equipment on jobsites, make repairs, and perform scheduled maintenance on equipment.
• Strong analytical ability.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
• Problem-solving aptitude.
• Great leadership skills and management of people.
• Bias to action and isn't afraid to try new things.
• Thoughtful of others and can help build/execute a training program for Pavement Maintenance Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations

• Set policies and processes
• Ensure employees work productively, arrive to work on time, and develop professionally
• Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
• Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
• Direct the employee assessment process
• Prepare regular reports for ownership
• Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
• Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
• Create a culture of continuous improvement with trying new processes and methods
• Shop maintenance items and inventory replenishment
