Barkley Regional Airport FBO Line Service Technician

AMS, LLC

Job title: Line Service Technician

Location: Barkley Regional Airport, Paducah, Kentucky

Terms: Permanent full-time and part-time positions with benefits

Pay Scale: Starting at $14.50 per hour

Requirements:

  • Must be able to work all days and shifts
  • Travel to Tupelo, Mississippi for initial training may be required

About us:

Airport Management Solutions (AMS, LLC) is an FBO management and consulting company with locations across Tennessee, North Carolina, Ohio, Kentucky, Missouri, and Mississippi. AMS manages FBO services including fueling, hangaring, and ground services for general aviation and military aircraft. AMS has also handled Air Force One on several occasions.

About the role:

The Line Service Technicians will report to the FBO Manager. Responsibilities include marshalling, fueling, and towing aircraft at Barkley Regional Airport. Training will be provided at Tupelo, Mississippi, or at Barkley Regional FBO.

Responsibilities:

  • Fuel, marshal, and tow aircraft
  • Collect payments for services
  • Answer telephones and radio calls
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the FBO and ramp
  • Receive fuel loads and refill refuelers
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Candidate requirements:

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders
  • Pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
  • Valid State Driver's License with a good driving record
  • Mechanical aptitude is a plus
  • Pilot license is a plus
