Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transport services. You will work with a team to safely transport patients, ensure aircraft readiness, and maintain regulatory documentation.

The role requires current rotorcraft commercial certificate, instrument rating, and Class II medical certificate, plus substantial flight hours. We offer a salary range of $102,073–$107,399 with a 15% geo modifier, a $15K sign-on bonus, retention bonuses up to $40K, on‑duty housing, and

Qualifications

• Must hold a rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, helicopter instrument rating, and FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• Minimum flight-hour requirements as listed must be met for consideration.
• Weight and safety requirements apply for flight gear.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients with a medical team to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches and maintain aircraft cleanliness.
• Maintain accurate Air Evac Lifeteam documentation and regulatory records.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift-change information to the next pilot and team per procedures.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand Air Evac Lifeteamrequirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
• MaintainaccurateAEL and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change infoto successive pilotandteam followingprotocol forrecordingAir Evac Lifeteam change boarddetails
• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training

MinimumRequirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 100 hours night unaided, or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear

Preferred Qualifications

• B206 Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
