Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services. You will work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.

The role requires current rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate, instrument rating, and a valid Class II medical certificate, with extensive helicopter hours and PIC time. Attractive bonuses, housing, and a 7/7 schedule are offered.

Qualifications

• FAA rotorcraft commercial certificate required.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• FAA Class II medical certificate required.
• Total flight hours: 2,000+; helicopter hours: 1,500+.
• 1,000+ helicopter PIC hours; 500 turbine hours.
• Weight limit 230 lb with gear; strong physical fitness.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a medical team to safely transport patients.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight and compliance with FAR and company requirements.
• Maintain accurate regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Follow change board procedures and maintain required certifications and training.

Salary range $115,387 - $126,926 including 30% Geo Modifier

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities


• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand Air Evac Lifeteamrequirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties


• MaintainaccurateAEL and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping


• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners


• Provide shift change infoto successive pilotandteam followingprotocol forrecordingAir Evac Lifeteam change boarddetails


• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training

MinimumRequirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate


• Helicopter instrument rating


• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate


• 2,000 Total Flight Hours

• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours


• 100 hours night unaided, or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
