Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services for Air Evac Lifeteam’s customers. The role requires operating with a team of medical experts and ensuring flight readiness and regulatory compliance.

The position offers a compelling compensation package with a total potential of $225,000 and a base pay range described as $134,539–$147,996 plus bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating is required.
• FAA Class II Medical Certificate is mandatory.
• Minimum flight hour thresholds specified above.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport customers with a medical team to and from locations.
• Ensure aircraft readiness and comply with FAR and client requirements.
• Maintain regulatory documentation and accurate record keeping.
• Communicate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Provide shift change information to the next pilot and team.
• Maintain certifications and pursue ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand Air Evac Lifeteam requirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
• MaintainaccurateAir Evac Lifeteam and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change infoto successive pilotandteam followingprotocol forrecordingAir Evac Lifeteam change boarddetails
• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating

• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 100 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
• 230 lb Weight Limit (including flight gear)

Preferred Qualifications

• B206 Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
