Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is seeking a Helicopter Pilot for full-time service in Amarillo, TX. You will join a safety-focused medical air transport team, delivering critical care to patients while adhering to FAR and company procedures.

Qualified candidates bring extensive rotorcraft flight hours and current FAA certifications. This role offers lucrative compensation, bonus eligibility, and housing/relocation incentives as part of a life-saving mission.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter Instrument Rating.
• FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours.
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours.
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours.
• 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours.
• 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided).
• 230 lb Weight Limit (including flight gear).

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely with a medical team.
• Ensure aircraft readiness per FAR and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements.
• Maintain required aircraft documentation and records.
• Coordinate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift-change information to the next pilot and team.
• Maintain certifications and ongoing training.

We’re hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services to Air Evac Lifeteam’s customers. Safety is a key pillar of our services.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand Air Evac Lifeteam requirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
• MaintainaccurateAir Evac Lifeteam and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change infoto successive pilotandteam followingprotocol forrecordingAir Evac Lifeteam change boarddetails
• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
