Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is seeking a Helicopter Pilot to support medical air transportation services. The role requires a current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, helicopter instrument rating, and a Class II medical, with extensive rotorcraft hours and turbine experience.

Compensation includes a salary range with a 20% geo modifier, a $15K sign-on bonus, and retention bonuses. On‑duty housing and a 7/7 schedule are offered to support stability and readiness.

Qualifications

• Must hold a rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate.
• You must have helicopter instrument rating and FAA Class II medical.
• Extensive flight hours in rotorcraft and turbine operations requested.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely with a medical team, coordinating with locations and facilities.
• Maintain aircraft readiness and comply with FARs and Air Evac Lifeteam procedures.
• Keep accurate regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Provide shift change information to the next pilot and team per procedures.
• Maintain required certifications and participate in ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand Air Evac Lifeteamrequirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
• MaintainaccurateAEL and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change infoto successive pilotandteam followingprotocol forrecordingAir Evac Lifeteam change boarddetails
• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training

MinimumRequirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating

• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 100 hours night unaided, or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear
