Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam in Paoli, IN is seeking a Helicopter Pilot to provide critical medical air transport. You will work on a 7/7 schedule with on-duty housing and a strong sign-on bonus, plus retention bonuses. Minimum flight-hour requirements apply and FAA certifications are mandatory.

The role emphasizes teamwork with medical and flight crews, strict adherence to FARs and company procedures, aircraft readiness, and ongoing training to ensure safe, efficient patient transport.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• Minimum 2,000 total flight hours.
• Minimum 1,500 helicopter hours.
• Minimum 1,000 helicopter PIC hours.
• Minimum 500 turbine helicopter hours.
• 100 hours night unaided, or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided.
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely with a medical team to and from locations.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches in accordance with FARs and company rules.
• Maintain accurate regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information to the succeeding pilot and team following protocol.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
