Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services. You will work with a team of medical experts to transport patients safely and ensure aircraft readiness in compliance with FARs and company policies.

The role requires extensive flight hours, rotorcraft certs, and ongoing training. A 7/7 schedule and housing benefits are offered as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate is required.
• Helicopter instrument rating is required.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate is required.
• Minimum 2,000 total flight hours with 1,500 helicopter hours.
• Minimum 1,000 helicopter PIC hours and 500 turbine hours.
• Night time experience: 100 hours unaided (or 50 unaided with 100 hours aided).
• 230 lb weight limit with gear.
• Preferred: B407 aircraft experience.

Responsibilities

• Transport customers with a team of medical experts.
• Maintain aircraft readiness for flight dispatch per manuals and FARs.
• Keep accurate Air Evac Lifeteam documentation and records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift-change information to the next pilot and team.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

We’re hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services Air Evac Lifeteam’s customers. Safety is a key pillar of our services.

Salary range

• $106,511 - $117,162 including 20% Geo Modifier

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate AEL and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Air Evac Lifeteam change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training
