Job summary

Hire East Idaho is seeking an entry-level production technician to set up and operate filling lines in a clean, climate-controlled facility in Rexburg, Idaho. The role offers a starting pay of $19.00 per hour with shift differential, plus longevity bonuses and profit sharing after six months of full-time employment.

Responsibilities include preparing lines, operating pumps and labelers, performing daily maintenance, and assisting with training.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under stress.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 65 lbs. consistently for eight hours.
• Ability to operate mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math for reports and labels.
• Basic computer and typing skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hook up vats or tanks.
• Prepare lines by adjusting height, fill levels, heat settings, capper and rails; prepare totes and paperwork.
• Clean Video Jet head and check label placement, stamps and rails.
• Operate filling lines, monitor fill levels, batch codes, box products, and palletize.
• Complete reports and labels with product name, quantity, names, date and shift.
• Assist in training other associates and demonstrate proper procedures.
• Perform daily equipment maintenance and cleaning duties.
• Inspect product quality according to requirements and enter data as needed.
• Enter data in computer systems as required.
