Job summary

Ventura Foods in Albert Lea, MN is seeking a Line Operator to keep the production line running smoothly and ensure quality product within the scheduled plan.

You will perform equipment setup and changeovers, verify correct weight, packaging codes, and maintain legible paperwork, while following all Food Safety policies and FSMA requirements.

This onsite role offers an hourly starting rate of 25.65 with opportunities for rate increases and career progression on First shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and stand for long periods.
• Must pass Basic Refrigeration Class.

Responsibilities

• Ensure line is running efficiently and producing quality product per schedule.
• Produce quantities required by production schedule.
• Perform weight checks at the specified frequency.
• Verify packaging supplies are used correctly.
• Ensure code dates are legible on containers and cases.
• Maintain accurate and legible paperwork.
• Responsible for equipment setup and changeovers.
• Direct and guide line personnel to maintain line efficiency.
• Follow all Food Safety policies, FSMA requirements and related programs.
