Reily Foods Company in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Line Operator for our manufacturing facility. You will safely operate production equipment and ensure timely, quality output in a GMP and safety-driven environment.

Responsibilities include running the line, performing changeovers, using Redzone for downtime and quality tracking, and maintaining documentation and safety practices. This role emphasizes teamwork and adherence to production targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of machine operating/production experience preferred.
• Ability to start/stop equipment, perform a changeover, and operate one piece of equipment.
• Good verbal and written communication, time management, and ability to follow rules and directions.
• Leadership: positive attitude, teamwork, and self-leadership.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment efficiently per GMPs and safety guidelines.
• Use Digital Production System (Redzone) to track downtime and quality documents.
• Complete changeovers for assigned equipment/production line.
• Maintain customer standards for product specifications and quality.
• Read and follow daily instructions and specifications.
• Complete quality, traceability, and production paperwork.
• Report product deficiencies or safety concerns to supervisor.
• Make minor equipment adjustments to maintain optimal performance.
• Keep workstation clean and sanitary and assist with changeovers.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in safety training.
• Report injuries or unsafe conditions to supervisor immediately.
• Support GMPs and emergency action plans; ensure food safety and legality.

Job Description

The Line Operator is responsible for safely operating production equipment within the manufacturing facility and ensuring that quality products are produced timely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment efficiently according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), and food/employee safety requirements and guidelines to meet daily labor and waste goals as planned and driven by management
• Utilize Digital Production System (Redzone) to track downtime, perform quality compliance documents and communicate with support functions
• Complete change overs for their assigned equipment and/or production line
• Learn and maintain customer standards for product specifications and acceptable quality
• Read and follow instructions regarding daily expectations, requirements, or specifications
• Accurately completes all quality, traceability, and production paperwork
• Report any product deficiencies, food, or safety concerns to supervisor
• Perform minor equipment adjustments to ensure equipment is operating optimally
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and assists others with product change overs
• Follow all safety procedures and actively participate in safety training and safety system ownership initiatives
• Maintain safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and person; reports any injury, accident, or unsafe condition to supervisor immediately
• Support and comply with GMP's; understand and follow emergency action plan
• Support food safety, quality, and legality
• Ensure the operation is providing food-safe, quality products which meet or exceed all product specifications and regulatory requirements
• Other duties as assigned
