Job description

• Sheet, scale, and mix ingredients according to the Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Operate scales, meters, mixers, dough hoist, and related mixing equipment
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
• Request and verify BOMs and required ingredients
• Mix ingredients according to BOMs and approved SOPs
• Perform mixing-area setups and breakdowns
• Accurately weigh ingredients, including re-work dough and small ingredients
• Label, color code, and properly handle containers
• Record batch information, including ingredient numbers, temperatures, and machine settings
• Load ingredients into mixers and related equipment
• Prepare equipment for the next production run
• Set mixer timers and programs
• Operate auxiliary equipment to hoist and dump dough
• Meet consistency, material, output, temperature, and quality objectives
• Suggest labor, supply-cost, and process improvements
• Follow quality, safety, legal, food-safety, and continuous-improvement standards
• Identify and report potential hazards
• Participate in GMP, recycling, pollution-prevention, and sustainability initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned
