Job summary

Orotex Corporation in Novi, MI is seeking a dedicated Injection Molding Operator for the 1st shift. You will operate injection machines, inspect produced parts, and package according to customer specs.

The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and contributing to production targets in a temperature-controlled facility. Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, ability to read English, and ideally 1 year of plant experience with injection molding.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts for defects and ensure quality.

• Label all completed parts accurately.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Purpose of the Position

To operate the Injection Machine line efficiently and accurately. Ensure manufactured products are inspected and packaged according to customer requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect parts for defects (i.e. shorts, flash, etc.)
• Package product per custom requirements and packing specifications
• Operate injection machine to produce products
• Ensure production goals are met
• Carefully follow all work instructions
• Complete daily production and quality reports
• Accurately label all completed parts
• Maintain a clean working environment
• Follow all Orotex policies and safety rules, other duties as assigned or required

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently
• Ability to understand spoken and written English
• Ability to work overtime and needed
• 1 year previous plant experience preferred
• Previous knowledge of injection molding preferred
• High School Diploma or GED

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, walk for 8 plus hours daily
• Ability to use both hand, wrists, and arms with continual motion
• Ability to push, pull, grasp, and reach objects
• Ability to lift 50 plus pounds repeatedly
