Hello,

My name is David, and I am a Recruiter with The Fountain Group. We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Line Operator for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Macon, MO. Details of the position are as follows:

Job Description:

• 1^st Shift - starts between 4am to 6am and lasts up to estimated 9 hours/day. Weekends are possible. - Payrate $19.82/hr
• 2^nd Shift - starts between 2pm to 4pm and lasts up to estimated 9 hours/day. Weekends are possible. - Payrate $20.32/hr.
• The Line Operator will be responsible for ensuring SQF (Safe Quality Food); food safety and quality by ensuring the process is meeting all standards from Filler thru Palletizer.
• The Line Operator is responsible for keeping the area in a clean and sanitary condition; assisting other employees with all changeovers, and perform minor maintenance on equipment as needed.
• The Operator will keep work area clean and safe, keep line running at peak efficiency, assist and understand weight control.
• The Line Operator will assist as needed, monitor cases and carton codes and conduct all other checks required by Quality to maintain the highest efficiency while adhering to quality standards and reports to Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Must be able to communicate well with others and understand team concept
• Must be able to follow and understand production schedule
• Must follow all OSHA and Plant safety rules
• Assist operators with minor change-over aspects
• Will perform duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader
• Must be able to work in climate controlled area (40 degrees)
• Must be able to work at elevated levels (working platform)
• Able to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to be trained to use a powered pallet jack
• Must be able to be trained to key enter information into data systems
