Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL preferred and clean driving record is desirable.
• Must be physically able to perform essential duties of Line Mechanic.
• Must be able to interact, communicate, and direct the work of others.
• Overtime and emergency work may be required; reside within one hour of reporting location.

Responsibilities

• Construct, operate, and maintain the electric system.
• Install, repair and maintain overhead and underground lines and equipment.
• Work aloft on poles or ground structures; climb poles with climbers.
• Direct the work of others when assigned and respond to emergencies as needed.
