Qualifications

• High School Education/GED required.
• Advanced mechanical skills and ability to use precision measuring devices.
• Thorough knowledge of manufacturing process, equipment, and quality specifications.
• Demonstrated involvement in safety and knowledge of safety regulations.
• Proven experience in preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of computer systems, gauges, tools and equipment.
• Effective and proven communication skills working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment to produce quality cans of various heights and diameters.
• Direct line operating personnel in duties and responsibilities.
• Make machine repairs and overhauls; examine can bodies and cans for quality.
• Adjust equipment to maintain quality and efficiency; start/stop equipment.
• Relieve operators; supervise on assigned lines; ensure safety compliance.
