Job summary

Crown Holdings, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Line Mechanic to operate high-speed metal packaging equipment, including spray equipment, neckers, and flangers. You will develop SOPs, train operators, and reinforce safety procedures to ensure consistent production of quality cans.

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will set up machines, oversee line personnel, perform repairs, and diagnose mechanical issues while maintaining tool and workspace organization for efficient production.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Advanced mechanical skills and ability to use precision measuring devices.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality specs.
• Experience with preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and rebuilds.
• Basic computer skills and good teamwork/communication.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment to produce cans of various heights and diameters.
• Direct line operators in daily duties and ensure quality standards.
• Make repairs and overhauls; troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Maintain safety procedures and keep equipment clean and organized.
