Rochester Gas & Electric Corp. is seeking a Line Mechanic Apprentice in New York to join our team and contribute to the safe operation, maintenance, and construction of overhead electric systems.

The role requires a solid safety mindset and the ability to work with coworkers, customers, and agencies. The candidate should have at least a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the potential to obtain a CDL.

Qualifications

  • Ability to understand and diagnose overhead electric system problems.

**POSITION:** Line Mechanic Apprentice**NUMBER OF POSITIONS:** 1**LOCATION:** **RGE** - NY - Spencerport**HOURLY RATE:** $23.04 - $58.19**Responsibilities**A Line Mechanic is committed to safety and safe work practices. These individuals are responsible to ensure the safety of themselves, coworkers, the general public, and Company property. They know and apply the fundamentals of electricity and are sensitive to the hazards involved in this discipline. They ensure the safety and reliability of the overhead electric system. They demonstrate the ability to competently and effectively perform the duties of their job including the skills to perform the operation, maintenance, and construction of the overhead electric system.
