Job summary

Airborne Maintenance and Engineering Services seeks a supervisor for the ILN line station. You will oversee direct staff, drive hiring and scheduling decisions, coach and mentor crew, and ensure safety, compliance and profitability of the operation.

Applicants should hold an A&P license, have 5 years in transport category line maintenance, and be proficient in budgeting and MS Office. FAA compliance knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Mandatory high school diploma or GED with professional credentials.
• Airframe & Powerplant licenses required for the role.
• 5 years in transport category aircraft line maintenance.
• Knowledge of FAA FAR Part 145 repair station operations.
• Budgeting principles and basic accounting knowledge expected.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervisory control and direction to ILN line staff.
• Make and recommend hiring, scheduling, discipline and development actions.
• Ensure safety, compliance and profitability of the line station.
• Report to the ILN Line Maintenance Manager and drive performance.

What you need:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Airframe & Powerplant licenses
• 5 years’ experience in transport category aircraft line maintenance
• Knowledge of FAA regulations pertaining to FAR Part 145 repair station operations
• Working knowledge of accounting and budgeting principles
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products

Preferred Skills:

• Bilingual - English and Spanish
• Degree in business management or related technical field
• 2 years project management experience at FAR 145 repair station operations
