Job summary

Weyerhaeuser in Natchitoches, LA is seeking an hourly Line Loader in the Shipping Department to operate and manage industrial trucks, unload finished goods from outfeed lines, and move items to storage areas. You will report to the Shipping and Scheduling Manager and work day shifts with potential weekends/holidays.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year of heavy equipment experience, and proficiency with VMT scanning and lift joystick control.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
At least 1 year of heavy equipment operator experience in manufacturing or distribution.
Resume or detailed education/work history required for consideration.
Proficient in joystick operation of lift and using a VMT computer for scanning.
Able to meet objectives while unsupervised.
Able to read and follow detailed instructions.
Able to pass the required tests with 100% score.
Able to pass Line Loader certification checklist.

Responsibilities

Unload finished goods safely and in a way that protects product; stack and store in Shipping yard.
Ensure finished goods are wrapped and labeled correctly on unload.
Use scanners to track inventory.
Perform pre-use inspection of mobile equipment.
Identify and report product quality deficiencies or damages.
Participate in safety, wellness, and community initiatives.
Other duties as assigned.
