Job summary

Smurfit WestRock Company is seeking a Production Line Leader to oversee a production line in our Assembly and Contract Packaging plant, ensuring maximum productivity and quality. This role is on second or third shift with overtime and weekend work as needed, in Knoxville, TN.

Compensation includes a base pay rate with a shift differential and benefits. You will set up lines, monitor flow, manage inventory and temporary staff, ensure safety and compliance with SOPs (CGMPs), and maintain accurate

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to effectively communicate with management and team members.
• Perform basic math.
• Ability to work independently or within a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• General fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or scheduled form.
• Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and set up production line and monitor flow; adjust equipment.
• Manage inventory, track and reconcile product and components.
• Assign temporary staff to line tasks and train them.
• Ensure line safety, CGMPs, SOPs, and quality checks.
• Maintain production paperwork and enter data.
• Maintain line cleanliness and safety training.
• Communicate with warehouse, maintenance, QA; report issues to supervisor.
