Job summary

Verst Logistics is seeking a Line Lead to supervise the packaging line, ensuring safe, efficient operation and adherence to work orders and kit specifications. You will direct line staff, monitor changeovers, and coordinate with maintenance and forklift teams to keep production flowing smoothly.

The ideal candidate has prior production line experience, strong leadership, attention to detail, and a solid attendance record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience on a production line in a fast-paced environment preferred.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to prioritize projects.
• Attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to understand, enforce and follow company policies.

Responsibilities

• Directs, leads and monitors production line staff to ensure product quality.
• Communicates with Packaging Operators regarding work order requirements and issues.
• Oversees changeovers to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Ensures productivity of the label machine and changes labels as needed.
• Identifies operational concerns and communicates with supervisors and maintenance.
• Checks products and pulls damaged or defective items.
• Completes production kits and required paperwork.
• Analyzes and resolves production line issues or assists workers.
• Coordinates with Forklift Operator for timely replenishment.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
